Susanta Das is an independent solo mime and theatre practitioner from Kolkata, India. For past 16 years he has been practicing different genres of body movements-from mime and aerial movements to different folk dance/performance forms. He has completed Diploma in Drama from Rabindra Bharti university in 2004(topper).
He has been Awarded Charles Wallace India Trust in 2013-14. He is impaneled as an artiste in the song and drama division, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Govt of India. He has been working as an actor with different theatre groups in Kolkata.
His area of specialization being Miami, in January 2014 he got the opportunity to attend the London international Mime Festival in London and in January 2017 got an opportunity to perform in Bangladesh – Comilla, Chittagong, Narayangunge and Dhaka at Dhaka University.
